New Volunteers are always welcome!

The Voluntary Care Groups rely on the services of volunteers to help elderly people in the Borough of Richmond.
So if you have an hour or two a week to spare, do make contact.

Help is always needed (and very much appreciated) with a variety of activities:

Voluntary Care Groups

- Helping with driving, befriending, running errands, collecting
prescriptions or undertaking light household tasks etc

- Answering the telephone and helping with administration

- Fundraising

Social Clubs

- Helping with activities and outings and giving our members a little
assistance when they need it (this does not mean 'caring' - our
members are independent and perfectly capable of looking
  after themselves!)

- Serving lunch, tea, coffee, light refreshments etc

- General administration

- Fundraising

IF YOU'D LIKE TO SPEND A REWARDING FEW HOURS HELPING
OLDER PEOPLE IN THE BOROUGH, JUST CALL ONE OF THE
VOLUNTARY CARE GROUPS OR SOCIAL CENTRES
