Advocacy and Advice
If you are asked to go to a meeting, fill in forms or simply need advice or help with something, there are many advocacy services ready to help you. You will also find that council officers from the appropriate department can be helpful and constructive.

Help The Aged

Help the Aged publishes a wide range of information sheets and reports that can point you in the right direction on matters ranging from housing choices to tax and benefits. There are also leaflets on the major health conditions that affect older people and advice on how to continue living independently at home. For online details, click here.
